Minimum 20 games played Version

The 1200+ elo bot is a minimum 5 wins bot (I think it used to be a minimum 20 games aswell), so there is already a bot that fulfills this purpose. The bot is ENT.31

They are suggesting an intermediate one. A bot where people are neither pro, nor beginners. Hence the minimum 20 games requirement, but no elo restrictions.

It's been 22 days since the suggestion, tho, and there's been no support from the community. So, i don't see how this could work.

Correction: the support has been limited to the usual supporters. This isn't exactly a blooming community with hundreds of active posters. Of the twenty people that actually give two craps to post their opinion, three support this idea. Which isn't very much, and not enough to actually do anything about it, I grant you.

They want to get rid of new players.

There was suggestion to create a bot for new players (even tho its there, its called MEGA), which is completely apsurd.

Now they want a "middle bot".

Well guess what, it already exists, its mega for beginers, 1200+ for players with experience, and an in-house league for, i would say, best players.

There have been a lot of posts now which aim at a similar problem: The matchmaking in LTD Mega games.

This is a huge issue at the moment and one of the most prominent reasons why the LTD community is shrinking. We need a proper way to integrate new players into the game and protect more ambitious players from being stuck with stubborn noobs as well as new players from being outplayed by stacked teams.

This is not the place to rant against the Mega bot, which is outright ridiculous if you see the game numbers played there in comparison with 1200+ and lihl games. Btw word has gotten around that a certain player, who is damaging the attempts to raise awareness of this problem now for quite some time, might have to stick to the Mega/1200+ bot in the future.
