legion td mega 1100+

is there a chance you could host legion td mega with restriction of 1100+ elo?

Lately the game fills up, then 1 guy with 800-900 elo joins and all on his team leave. Then it ends up being 1 team with 1200 and the other with 900 average.

I asked for the same... But @Nabo. thought it wouldn't work, which i'm pretty sure he's wrong... If anything is not working its the 1vs1 HR Bot that sometimes stays in lobby for over 100 hours or the no cross bot that's being played 1-2 times a day max (and sometimes not for days)... But ofc those remain hosted and a 1050+ normal bot isn't even worth trying out...

If u name it "Legion TD Mega 1100+ #" +advertise in other legion games it won't fail. If u call it "legion td mega hr" ofc it fails.

Ihl is no replacement for a mid/high elo bot

Right now the no cross bot is idle for over 17 hours..... maybe ihl players hate crossers so much they have to keep a no cross bot or they won't be able to sleep at night.

No we don't, lihl players mostly play on normal bot aswell, rarely ever seen anyone being on no-cross ^^ 1) It never fills 2) It's waaaaay too easy if it does fill unless u play vs other lihl guys... 99% of all pubs can't solo and get stomped so hard if they can't play their easy cross shit against yolo strat.

You want a bot because u want to filter 500-900elos.
-Why you want to split our already declining player base? There are so many LTD bots already.
-You guys call this bot mid to high elo bot. 1050-1100elo is mid elo bot? oO
-What makes you think that 1100elo player is any better than a 900elo player?
-Akitos even specified Asians (I take no offense), but I remember Asian teams doing well in past ENT competitions.
-What makes you think 1050 or so elo will restrict smurfs?

I dont mind that you guys are conscious of your elo which represents nothing of your skills, but win or lose.
-Why cant you guys play with a low elo, communicate, and win an even bigger elo gain? Is this not worth the risk?

No cross bot differentiates itself way more than this suggestion, yet it failed. =[

As I mentioned before, HR bots were only successful before lihl was made. After lihl, I have not seen any of these similar suggestions work. Past reasons for making an HR bot:
1) restrict smurfs
2) create a smoother transition from pub to lihl
3) cultivate higher quality players
etcetc

If you are going to make a suggestion, you will need a better reason than what I have seen so far.

It's only a guess, but you're not playing much LTD are you @Nabo. ?
Also it seems like you got me all wrong and i don't feel like explaining myself again, esp the Asian part.. Which also brings me back to my conclusion that you're not playing too much LTD, because then you'd know what i mean and you also wouldn't think the bot is being less played because there are many other LTD bots. Pure curiousity: @TheLumberfetish what do you think when you see a 900 elo asian on your team that writes " " and/or doesn't respond to anyone?

I was 2k elo at some point.

U cant argue with me thinking that wc3 or LTD is more active and popular than in the past. Yes, more bots = split player base. Pub is pub. Higher lvl games will either be in a league or inhouse private game format.

Yes, i do get games ruined, but the main reason is not due to a 500-900elo.

My critisms were towards ur intentions and based-reasons for suggesting this bot.

Anyway, lets see if others want this.

Never the less he is right fewer and fewer members play now, from a year ago or so when we played public games on euro server back then, it was crazy like you couldnt even join for 5 games in a row, all day, every hour of the day, people are simply acknowledging that legion td is very unballanced game, and move on to new games or other parts of wc3, we must just face fact that we are a dying breed, and there is no reason to devide us now we must stand together, play together through good times and bad, there will always be players with bad communication, I can go to mental stage when I sit alone 3 in the night and some "asshole" stays 2/0 for 10 or send a fklsdhsgjkndinh dino on lvl 4 or sell towers and so on. There will always be those persons, just be happy that you can be 100% sure that if you play vs me and adi he will always be on our team ^_^ cause adi you suck

Back then people also played hr bot for a very brief time, but the fact is you cannot have an in-house league and 10 other legion bots, when the player base is so low. the moment lihl opened the hr bot died, i mean instant, most people went lihl, rest started pub again

@nabo. to your points:

1. players with 0/10 and 500 elo play the game maybe 2 days, then they get frustrated because everybody flames them and they always lose, so they quit.
At the same time people quit the game because there is always one of those players that ruin their game.

I think that will make the community decline way faster than splitting the bot. Low elo players/people that like to send every round and just play Legion on rare ocasions will still have the normal bot, and the bit more advanced players won't get so frustrated. win win situation.

I'm not saying all 1100+ elo players are good players. but in order to get 100 elo on ent bot you have to understand at least the bare minimum to not ruin every game.

2. if you pull a statistic of all players ever played legion on ent don't you think something about 1100 elo will be about the average? so calling it mid elo bot is pretty suited imo

3. as you probably know elo is a method to calculate relative skill levels originated in chess. It is widely spread and therefore i think it is safe to say that from a statistical standpoint a 1100 elo player is much better than a 900 elo player. At least it is sure that he actually won a couple games.

4. since i don't check peoples origin i cannot talk about asians being the problem or not. But i don't think this is relevant either

5. who ever said anything about restricting smurfs? That was and is not my intention. I couldn't care less about smurfs i'm just looking for some fun games.

6. we can't communicate because these people do not respond. I was in that situation many many times and tried very politely to help them and make them play as a team but now i just quit the lobby when someone like that joins. And not only if its on my team!

7. I can't talk about HR bots in the past since i haven't witnessed them. What were the restrictions? I also think i don't want a HR bot but just a no-noob bot. There is a big difference in that please don't mix that up.
