Ban Appeal

Hello,
Some time ago, I installed wc3 to play again at my work as an overnight security guard. I have been having fun with vanilla but do not like the custom games. However, I cannot acces entconnect and it always gave me a message saying rangebanned. I haven't played wc3 dota since 2015 and would really love to play again if possible! Thank you

Hi, you need to give more details. What is the TID number of the ban, what usernames have you used on ENT in the past, when was the last time you played on ENT, and what games do you play?

Hi , thank you so much for the reply to help me. I have used these 2 usernames in the past on all warcraft games: 1) Zano and 2) randarhenn123. I have not played wc3 since about 2014 or 2013 but never had a problem with the servers. I'm interested in Island Defense and DotA. As for TID number of the ban, can you explain more please what that is how to get that? Thank you

When you try to join a game it will tell you you're banned and give a reason TID: (number) . If you give me the number I can look up the ban and check if you are the player it was intended for or not. When a player changes ip to dodge their ban we ban the range to stop them from dodging their bans, which is what happened here.

Hi, sorry. I have to reinstall WC3 at my job and entconnect and had technical difficulties...I need to run the game again and connect to see TID number.

I will reinstall it very soon (by Monday).

You are currently using a VPN to connect, please disable said VPN and use a legitimate IP address and you'll be fine. You can try using a Wifi hotspot, however, if you're using your connection from work, they likely have a VPN active.

Ah, I see. I think my work's internet network is connected to this. I can't disable it. Is there any solution or I just can't play from work?

Unfortunately not, as VPN's aren't allowed on ENT. My best recommendation is to just play when you're at home.
