Regardless of his motivation you can't votekick people who didn't break a rule, kicking someone just because hes unpleasant or so you can draw is not okay. You could have just votekicked the afk guy too.

Yes it was a while ago but we are understaffed so it took a while to get to it.

If you go to the wiki, read the rules, and find the rule you were banned for, I will unban you. Now that you are aware in future the bans will likely stay.
