His minimap doesn't look edited.

What I think might have happened is:
He maphacked. He turned off maphack for screenshot hence he lost sight of enemies buildings and Legion Lord. He turns minimap black in WC3. Now everything outside of his own team is black.
Maybe a mod feels like testing if it would behave that way.

He also seems to be lying about the .tga file which he says is nowhere to find. Look at the name of his attached screenshot "WC3ScrnShot_091215_011109_01.odg", it has exactly the name a .tga file would have, so why would it have that name if he didn't convert the .tga to the .odg.

Plus his history which I guess nabo. told the other mods about already.

HBC has been banned for maphacking in the past. The screenshot in question is a funny one, there is an option to turn the terrain on the minimap black, however it will not cause the enemies buildings to be blacked out. The screenshot goes directly to your WC3 folder as a .tga file format. And I've never seen a screenshot get corrupted like that.

He mentioned that in-game his minimap was not black, however, looking at the screenshot, the "option" that turns the minimap black is "enabled/turned on"

If anything, HBC most probably recently used a maphack.

If he was to get unbanned, then perhaps he can undergo a procedure of taking a screenshot of every game he partakes in, to ensure fair play, or until you feel that he can be trusted. Using a program like Gyazo will be more than efficient of taking a screenshot, and providing him with the direct link of showing that screenshot to mods.

Turning off a maphack shouldn't hide buildings, as the buildings are already "visible" by default. I'm not sure how a maphack works in regards to turning fog on/off. However, with the Warcraft Engine, once you gain vision of your enemy buildings/towers, they will be visible in a static behaviour once fog is turned off. That is why you gain "vision" of what the enemy has after arena, because fog is turned off at arena granting you vision of the whole map.

So in that case, it seems he turned off his maphack, however he had vision of the enemies units due to the warcraft engine, so he had no choice but to edit the minimap and come up with an excuse.

I converted to TGA was asked to get TGA file that was impossible for me so I did what I could and converted here http://www.online-convert.com/ The name I got from when I watched the replay here and took a ss. Before someone assumes I tried to deceive anyone it was only to satisfy the TGA file request.

for any reason your tga files resulting from taking screenshots do not show up in the warcraft3 screenshot folder,
try searching your entire C drive here is how:

open file explorer
-windows key + E
or
- right click windows logo and click file explorer

- click the yellow folder icon in your taskbar

go inside your C drive or whichever drive u want to check
and in the search box type: *.tga
thats star dot tga
hit enter

it will search your entire C drive for all tga files no matter what their names is.

you can do this for any file like *.jpg or *.mp3 ...
you need a program i think to open tga files, since windows by default doesnt open them.
the one im using is faststone image viewer, you can google it or use any other.

So send the "wc3scrnshot_091215_011109_01.tga" to the mods, not this ".odg"
If its the same SS and the map looks fine there, problem should be solved.

if its not blacked send them to mod. if you need help sending let me know.
