Where are your manners? viewtopic.php?f=207&t=118406

You guys sent full 13, we leaked less than 30, not even to king. It was 100% our win and you try to get us to draw... You are indeed a rat.

You trying to draw the game, and you being here now reporting us shows how un-mannered you are and how of a ELO-Whore you are.

Just the fact that we won 3v4 shows how unilateral this game was.

I assume my decision and if I was to do it again, i would still play.

Come on guys, you know you have to draw after a DC no matter what. I even remember @Kiwi making good points why you should also not allow it to continue even if the team with 3 players wants..

Yes, because it could lead to abusive stuff. However, this was not abusive at all, in fact, asking for draw was pretty abusive and un-mannered.

I do respect the ruling though. As I said, I would do it again anyway, so I won't even bother appealing this.

Off topic:
Even pub players !ff or even just play when they were losing and someone from enemy team dcs. We could expect better from an in-house league.

Personnally, I did it plenty times !ff on a lost game where enemy dc, I expected people to be mannered.

Thank you @don_killuminati and @nicolai123 for their manners though.

Can't you apply some common sense to this punishment? 3 days seems like a lot to me. I realize you want to defend the principle of drawing after someone DC's, and i guess there is some value in that.

I would suggest a new rule, specifically regarding this case: In the event of a player disconnecting, the team who has suffered said disconnection will decide whether or not to keep playing. Literally makes no sense for enemies to be the ones deciding whether or not to keep playing a 4v3.

Kiwi wrote:I don't agree with this rule change. Not quite sure I fully understand the implications of such change, but as far as I get it, it could only lead to some sort of opportunism or no impact at all.

First of all, I really don't see the point of playing a 4v3 game. Even if it is fair now with 4v3, since the 4-players team can be weak compared to the other team, it takes all the fun part away.

Also, if chances were pretty equal before a player disconnected, and that player was a dead lane, the 3-players team is highly advantaged now. Hence the opportunism I was talking about.

Finally, if the team losing a player to disconnection was already in a bad spot, this rule change won't do much. They will either want to draw or not, no matter their decision, the new rule wouldn't bring any new fairness.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I simply think that players should have the manners of admitting they lost a game and to forfeit it when it was very very likely they would lose. Some people may think I am a idealist, they are probably right, but I think it all starts from ourselves.

Gandhi wrote:We but mirror the world. [...] If we could change ourselves, the tendencies in the world would also change.

tl;dr : It could easily be abused in some specific cases. I'd rather have mannered players agreeing to play on than implementing a rule that could be easily abused. My opinion.

Yeah, if you are sure of that. I always support it if you can manage to solve the issues you have in LIHL without moderators having to interfere.

I will tell the discord staff to revouch them then.

when the team that loses a player doesnt want to draw, i see no purpose of the rules goal. Or do you see any disatvantage for the 4 player team? Theres one single situation imo, if the dc guy is weakest lane in a race at level 20/32. But how often this really happens?
