Ye I see how the issues stacks up fast but I have honestly no idea what happened there
I tabbed out to minimize skype so I could see my Creep bounty word page I have on my second screen - then I tab back in and suddenly I realise I am merc - I didn't touch my mouse since I minimized skype and I have no other proper excuse but I am sure Armed and Feor (who were on skype with me at that time) can agree with what I am saying here - this mistake I am sorry for and I hope this never happens again but I do not believe I deserve a punishment for this since it hurts me just as much as it hurts you - once again I'm sorry :I

The merc thing was accident he was very sad on skype that happened.Please punish the leave only if possible.

As rage-leaving seems to be a growing issue don't be surprised if leavers receive harsher sentences in future (even for their first offence).

I thought you treat merc as dc ~ therefore elo adjustment?

Anyway I was on Krumme's team when he went merc and we were on skype, I am confident his merc reroll was an accident based on his reactions.

Feor is right, We treat a Merc as DC.

Under no circumstances is any player permitted to switch to the mercenary builder.
[Obscure] Spoiler: What to do if someone accidentally goes merc
If a player accidentally switches to merc, he/she is required to leave the game immediately. The remainder of the players must draw the game and a DC penalty will be enforced whereas the Merc player will lose ELO and everyone else in game will gain ELO for the inconvenience
Please note that the merc player MUST leave the game first in order for the DC penalty to be applied.
Repeat offenders will be investigated by the Mods[/spoiler]

Correct - Merc is a DC penalty only. I've adjusted the ban length to 3 days for rage quit.
