[Suggestion] Multicast + Purification

Since blizzards patch of 1.30, the combination of abilities Multicast + Purification in LoD has been arguably a problem for most players.
The combination now spikes the game and lags it for everyone when Multicasted 3x or 4x. It's now turning into a mechanism that alters gameplay anywhere on the map in the later game.
The spike is about 1.5-2 seconds and sometimes lags players out which leads to an even bigger pause of 3 or more seconds. The combination is usually used in team fights which can create an impact on the fight.


Please add Multicast + Purification to the game specific rules for DotA/LoD and remind players not to choose this combination as it hinders gameplay and should result in a ban for glitch exploiting.

I agree with Desire, this causes lag throughout the game in every team fight and defiantly effects the outcome of the battles and sometimes the game itself.

I've had some games where players get Mc Purification and on purpose cause it to lag.
It will be nice to see this added to the Ban List.

Just to be clear, this is what's being suggested?
LoD specific ban-able glitches wrote:Ember Spirit's Flame Guard in combination with Tinker's Rearm: Purposely stacking damage.
  • Ember Spirit's Sleight of Fist in combination with Rikimaru's Permanent invisibility: Does not reveal upon casting.
  • Rikimaru's Permanent Invisibility: Intentionally refusing auto-attack.
  • Anti-Mage's Mana Break may not be skilled on melee heroes: Dealing twice the damage and mana burn.
  • Rearm may no longer be used in combination with either of the following spells: X Marks the Spot, Teleportation, Sanity's Eclipse and Phantasm.
  • Ogre Magi's Multicast in combination with Omniknight's Purification: Causes extreme lag/delay.


Nevertheless, after having tested it, the lag in which is spoken of is confirmed and if used maliciously can shift many fights, potentially even used as a mechanism of game ruining.

While the combination is confirmed to lag/delay, it is not ban-able yet nor is it technically an exploit therefor it must undergo this process before being enforced by the ENT staff.
