[LTD] do mods even ban for rule breaking?

Postby roger5070mm » Fri Oct 12, 2018 8:23 am

Replay Link: https://entgaming.net/findstats.php?id=11474705
Game Name: [ENT] Legion TD Mega #16
Your Warcraft III Username: iamfat
Violator's Warcraft III Username: dropthebass@useast.battle.net otzeki@europe.battle.net
Violated Rule(s): You are obligated to !votekick any player that has broken any of ENT's game ruining rules. If someone or several indicate that a particular player is game ruining, you, as a player in the game, are obligated to question/check about the situation/claim. It is possible to game ruin by being new. In this case, votekick will only be valid if the new player refuses to learn and cooperate. (which he does not) build like retard and cant listen
Time of Violation (in-game or replay): the votekick was done after teal solo send 5 but 2 players did not votekick which breaks rules
Any further thoughts: i rarely ever see mods banning for this, why is that? its among the rules! or they just choose the most interesting forum threads to respond to? if not bannable why even include it in the rules?

@roger5070mm Your ban request does not make a lot of sense. If teal did not break a rule, you cannot votekick; however, you are claiming that somebody did not votekick teal yet you do not report teal for breaking any rules?

Also, "listen to purp and I don't report you" - teal does not have to merge with purple

Also, 1 solo send is hardly bannable (when the votekick happened), especially since the player is new and did not continue sending after being told to stop (which you never did - just started complaining).

I am denying this request as it is since there are a few issues with it. Fix your attitude and feel free to re-submit it, but properly this time. Once again, if somebody did not break a rule, there is no grounds for a votekick; according to your ban request, teal did not break a rule since there is no report for it.
