Why are you banned: Votekick Abuse TID: 62934 (game ruining) 19 Jul 2015 01:29:49 MST
Why you should be unbanned:
I received a week ban for votekicking someone who refused to draw. Everyone votekicked him because we lost a player 3 minutes into the game, and this person refused to draw the game. Everyone else agreed to draw, except for this new player who didn't know what he was doing. This person had all 6 of us banned. I see people in pub games, especially moderators, who votekick players for this same reason so they can draw the game, and they never even come close to getting banned. But for some reason I received a 7 day ban for doing the exact same thing. I've been playing on ENT for a long time and I try to follow the rules as closely as possible. If I had known this was a bannable offense I would not have done it. I'm hoping you understand, thanks.

Re: Ban appeal
As I said I try to follow the rules closely. I don't know each rule to the letter, and perhaps I should have known this one. Seven days seems a bit severe for this common practice to me.
Re: Ban appeal
"Common practice"? You might as well drop it right there as what you did (and the other others) was pure and blatant abuse of the votekick command - And actually i'd like you to present some proof of your accusations "I see people in pub games, especially moderators, who votekick players for this same reason so they can draw the game, and they never even come close to getting banned."
Re: Ban appeal
Exactly, moderators do this all the time and don't get banned, so im not sure what your point is.
Re: Ban appeal
@Kixtand Once again, if you truly wish to accuse someone, present me proof (replays or game links) in which that happened
So far i see no reason to unban you, as you don't acknowledge what you did wrong, and you're actually excusing yourself by claiming moderators do this, without presenting any evidence.

Re: Ban appeal
I've been playing on ENT for 7 plus years. Whether you know it or not it is a common practice in pub legion games, especially under the circumstances. No I'm not going to throw anyone under the bus.
Re: Ban appeal
7 days for these circumstances is just unreal. Maybe its appropriate for some offenses of this rule, but not in this case.
Re: Ban appeal
Well "common practice" - yes it is common, reason why you see many players (including yourself) being reported for it and being legitimately banned - Also trying to accuse moderators of doing something bannable, but then refusing to prevent evidence, certainly doens't help you, as it only makes you look bad so next time before trying to toss the coin, think before doing so.
Anyways and as mentioned before i see no reason to unban you - You mention you've been playing for a long time on ENT, yet you abused rules without even thinking twice, and the moment you appeal, you try to excuse yourself by saying moderators also do it, but then refuse to present evidence.
And actually you're banned for 5 days, not 7.

Re: Ban appeal
You're a jerk, look above for evidence. Try waking up on the other side of the bed tomorrow.
Re: Ban appeal
Fine, try appealing when you've read our rules (thing you clearly haven't done so far, or else you woulnd't have done what you did), and get a better attitude.
