I think it is the new map.
Have there been this many bugs with the other maps?

A lot more probable that the ss was tampered with than there being a glitch. Definitely has little to do with the new map.

@tastay I don't think that's the point he is making. I wan willing to do the ss on a different bot I am also willing to allow pew into my computer to atleast possibly fix my computer issue or find the tga both would be appreciated.

sorry @healbycolor i cant remote assist your computer, not tomorrow anyway, i am just overwhelmed this week.
maybe arty or nabo. can.
they just take control of your keyboard/mouse as if they were in front of your computer.
obviously you need trust the person connecting if you have sensitive files like work financial files.

im not sure thats gona be helpful anyway since u already searched for all *.tga files, unless u have them in a different drive like D:\

one thing for sure is you need to factory reset your computer, no need to buy another computer.
a computer over time builds up virus' adware... and slows to a crawl as the registry gets corrupted fro installed apps.
a factory reset will make your windows new again like when your first bought your computer.

make sure to back up all your files ( pics, docs, vids ...) before doing so to an external device or online cloud backup like google drive.

your hp laptop has built in recovery for this purpose.

no one can exclude that your black minimap is due to the new lihl map bug, especially i read i think godlike had a similar ss with the exception of enemy buildings showing up.

innocent until proven guilty, i think europeans r not familiar with the american system :p

hopefully @nabo. and the lihl team can approve your appeal due the new map bug uncertainty and your lack of computer skill.

there is a way to tell if you maphacked or not even without a screenshot, but its just not worth the work.
it might take about 1 hour remote assist session or much less if u have an ssd drive for a preliminary scan.
if a lihl mod or higher is tech savvy i can link them to open source tools to do so.

Few things:
1. The black mini-map is not a bug. It's a standard function in all of wc3 with the purpose to see the enemy more clearly. E.g. in 'regular' wc3 it can sometimes be hard to spot the enemy buildings, so you can make the terrain all black so the buildings will contrast more. So if anything, the Burning Legion, the enemy buildings and the enemy king should be MORE visible instead of disappearing with a black mini-map.
2. Isn't it kind of contradicting that HBC knows 'nothing' about computers, but has been caught maphacking before? It was in fact in a replay, so he was only banned for 1 month for faking a report. It was already discussed back then to unvouch him permanently, but because he was not caught maphacking on ENT it was decided not to. How does this match up with his 'I am so stupid'-defence? (In similar vein, can I also refer to HBC being able to make screenshots and very skillfully edit into them such as here https://entgaming.net/forum/viewtopic.p ... 42#p254842)
3. The name of his screenshot is a .tga name, but is in .odg. HBC says he got that name from a replay but it is the original screenshot (WC3ScrnShot_091215_011109_01.odg). Also, the time of the .odg MATCHES the time he had to take the screenshot (01:11.09). So either he edited the name of the screenshot to match the time he had to take the screenshot (which seems highly unlikely to me with 'his computerskills) or he DOES have (or did have and already removed) the .tga file.
4. Does anybody buy the 'I only get .tga files from my replays but not the games I play?'. It's just totally illogical and doesn't make any sense.
5. Does anybody buy the 'The mini-map bugged?'. It's just totally illogical and doesn't make any sense. It's just a standard wc3 mini-map and it always shows the buildings in the fog.
6. Does anybody buy the 'I had normal vision of minimap in my game, but not in the screenshot?'. It's just totally illogical and doesn't make any sense.

The SS-test is almost the only way to catch maphackers. HBC failed the ss-test hard, and with his history plus the many hiatuses in his story that I found in 10 minutes looking there is no way this should not provide enough evidence. If this does not lead to the exclusion of HBC it will be a huge slap in the face for fairplay in the league and it would make the SS-test obsolete.
I also want to add that the 'baby-sitting' solution to have him provide screenshots every game seems like a no-go to me. This is a mature league (or well, you know what I mean) and if you can't behave you are out, we should not rehabilitate former maphackers.

There is always of course a small chance that the disappearing of towers is a bug. Just like Russell's teapot, it cannot be disproven (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Russell%27s_teapot). But since it was announced SS-tests will be performed regularly we will soon see if more people have the enemy buildings not in their screenshot, so IF it turns out to be a bug, his ban can be reversed by then.

God.lik3's screen shot looks to be of a graphical bug than a bug in the map.

Well you can only see the opposite units at the minimap after arena and not beforehand (as you see at godlike screenshot it was before level 1 started), except you maphack

How can you tell me I maphack because I dont have knowledge about ss I have never had to do one ever....

No offense but HBC you was lihl mod and yet dont know how to make a screenshot since the rule got implented?

@mickeythemousie It's more a matter of the 1 year unvouch at this point that is being appealed, as he said in thread he doesn't refute the failed ss test.

He wasn't caught MHing, he was caught with MH software on the load screen during the replay. Many players in LIHL MH in other games outside of LIHL. Some leagues have a prerequisite of MH - such as ZTX clan footies or other LTD leagues.

The black mini-map doesn't look like that function in LTD 3.41 Mega - that was the only plausible cause of the "glitch" that I found possible - that he was using this function and it bugged in the new map (I've heard many complaints about the mini-map in particular on the new map, and haven't played it myself).

Obviously baby-sitting isn't an option. If he's not caught here, no need. If he can't cooperate it would be ridiculous to have him vouched.
HBC obviously knows how to use paint without a doubt, and his behavior is very suspicious.

I do remember many times HBC has failed to juice mutants before sends, suggesting he doesn't always use MH, and other such fails.

Lastly, I'm disappointed Mickey that you didn't read the thread thoroughly. He did post the TGAs of this ODG on page 3 that were ostensibly "from a replay".

Edit: Forgot to mention that obvious lie HBC said in this forum, "knows how to download MH" is a ridiculous thought about someone "so computer illiterate" he can't use command prompt. When we have ss proof that he already has MH downloaded.... It's more a matter of having evidence he MHs and not just suspicious behavior before hitting a 1 year ban.

When I used to play high level CS 1.6 we used to have to do hack scans in IRC which scanned our computer for hack files/programs. Would a similar process be possible in this case?

It would be very easy for uakf.b to do this type of thing regularly in LIHL. However, there's privacy issues that have prevented him from doing this in pub bots.

Should be mandatory in LIHL imo
