Also, you said he need to be handled. People of the said department (dota moderator) will need to handle him. In this said department, you need the experienced mod (nothing mean) : Me and agreement look like these that will need to handle him (again, nothing against other mod that are doing a well job)

For my part. It is, and stay a no. So everything, if all he needs is to be handled, is on agreement's shoulders. I think we made the turn over the view point. Some agree, some are neutral, some are against.

I think you gave also, the answer some people was looking for.

Wish you best, even if I'am against, if you finish inside our staff, I just want you to do one thing. Work hard, show me that you really deserved this place.

Thanks. Good Luck.

Experience is optional not really a requirement before I became an moderator here I had 0 experience, just be honest and up front in your application is all I want to see.

Last question from me. I know you have a group of friends that you play with on bnet (Hi getpwnt.com!) - how would you handle a ban request or appeal from one of them?

@palsgraf

I had to deal with a similar situation in my job. I was the manager of our store and personally discovered that my good friend actually stole from the company. A week later, I filled out his exit paperwork. To complicate things, I rent an apartment from him currently. I'm sure if I could handle that, I can handle a ban or appeal from one of my DotA friends.

But, one of the reasons I consider these people friends is that they are fun to play with. And one of the reasons they are fun to play with is that they play the game fairly and correctly.

@cyberpunk

Have I flamed people in games? From time to time, I have trash-talked to other players. Often times, it's provoked from other players. Currently though, I'm a regular player and I'm not held to the higher standards that a moderator is. That means I'm allowed to trash-talk with others a bit. As a moderator though, I would hold myself to higher standards and not do it. It's not a big deal to me and I don't do it as often as most people anyway.

Despite what some admins may think, following the rules to a T is not that easy. Getpwnt, KungfuDuck, myself would not break a rule intentionally, but sometimes misinterpretations happen. We are a pretty tightknit group and I try to keep the rest of our inner circle honest.

On a note to stay on topic, I personally support MoguL from a player's standpoint. He goes the extra mile to keep the ENT server clear of the Map Hackers and abusers, which is quite rare among the player base. Yes, he has an attitude and may rage from time to time, but I view that to be passion for the game. We all have different personalities and sometimes they conflict, but the overall work he has put in should be recognized, if not rewarded with a flashy title to show off on the forums.

I don't personally know the guy (I have played maybe 4 games with him), so my opinion remains unbias. I speak directly by his actions and reviewing random posts on the forum.

ive played with and against mogul and i havnt seen him do anything that would make me want to disapprove his application. admittedly i havnt gammed all that much with him so from a players stand point i have to go off what ive read. most of the online community i am involved with loves this guy. its a pretty big group. they have always had nice things to say about him. and im talking prior to this application. it doesnt surprise me that some of the online gammers have suggested to him to apply to the ent staff, hence why we are all here now.

on your recent post about the maphacker, can you say for 100% certainty that this is a fog click and not a bug in the fog clicker? and if not, why?

@VirusHunter

I have posted 2 today and I've commented on 1 or 2, I think. Talking about a particular one?

In that case, I actually did some more research just to be absolutely certain and found in the raw code that icyVOID did in fact click very near the last click of JOETHEFREAK, which you can assume matches exactly the fog click that I posted. That, on top of the mine click that OP posted, is enough for me to determine that icyVOID hacked.
