Situation:Some kid in game started a kick for an obnoxious player. I voted to kick him. A kid on other team decided to act like a prick and say he was gonna an everyone who voted to kick the kid. I called him out and told him to ******. apparently he submitted ban request. says I was banned by "edgeofchaos" who I will be submitting a complaint for his removal of moderator status. Moderator abuse is Much worse than votekick abuse. And I didn't even start the kick. Just cant stand kids trying to act billy badass online b/c they think the have some control. I was planning on donating to ent soon but if I continue to get banned by punks whi think they r cool I will not be.
Why you should be unbanned: I was wrongly banned.

There are a few key points in this Appeal which you can assist ilaugh to understand his ban. r-l_l-i-l_l-p was the Target of the votekick incident.


1. A kid on other team decided to act like a prick and say he was gonna an everyone who voted to kick the kid
Having him said this, you can address the votekick incident.
Watch the replay (Do not just depend on Chat Log) and you can see that ilaugh was bitter about the clash which had him killed when r-l_l-i-l_l-p was not with the team.
You can say things like r-l_l-i-l_l-p was pushing Top lane and attempting to down tower. Thus, the votekick on r-l_l-i-l_l-p was not substantiated.

2. I was banned by "edgeofchaos" who I will be submitting a complaint for his removal of moderator status.
You may state your opinion if the ban was well warranted or otherwise. E.g. Personally I agree with the Admin who proceeded with a minor ban because you voted.

3. Tell ilaugh that he is not the only one penalized in this scenario, the Initiator was also banned for errorneously trying to votekick a player who showed no signs of Game Ruining.

Both banned for 1 day. Thanks for reporting.

4. Lastly, educate ilaugh on what constitutes Game Ruining. Say things like - the person he was voting off did not intentionally suicide, afk, item destroy, etc. Thus there should not be any reason to vote kick this player.

Posting stats or any other information from the sites (except game/chat log) is kinda useless because every staff member has to check that anyway.

So it doesn't help much.

I can't repeat it often enough. Quality != quantity. If he would be useful for the public as well, then yes.
However, the best example is probably this: viewtopic.php?f=8&t=9590

Plus, from what I see you've got 5 requests only from which 1 got denied for lack of evidence/delayed click.

I am not trying to make you look bad but for me, personally, you are lacking something specific to be good at this job. Everyone probably agrees with me that all pubs can be active on the forum and copy/paste information - yet, it doesn't make them a good staff member.
