Appealing a Ban ASAP

Postby sayhawt » Thu May 31, 2018 11:04 pm

Your Warcraft III username: sayhawt/sayhawti
Realm/Gateway: West
Why are you banned: "Afk and Game Ruiner"
Why you should be unbanned: I was guilty of a poor game, but the time of AFKs are insignificant at best. In no way did I throw the game. That can be clearly seen by replay. Who buys wards and then throws game? Despite my number of deaths, I also had some of the best items on my team. Regarding me buying radiance and selling, I never did that. I'm not sure what sort of axe to grind this person had against me, but he accomplished his mission. Please do the right thing now and un-ban me; to me this is a credibility issue. I have a friend coming into town this weekend and we always look forward to trying our hand at Dota on ENT. Thank for the work you put it responding and reviewing these things!

All the best,
Sam

Original Ban Message:Replay Link: https://entgaming.net/findstats.php?id=10846467
Game Name: [ENT] DotA apem us/ca #4
Your Warcraft III Username: waitz
Violator's Warcraft III Username: sayhawti
Violated Rule(s): Excessive AFK, and Game Ruin
Time of Violation (in-game or replay): 31:00 (1.9 min) 32:40 (1.6 min) 35:00 (1.2 min) 37:20 (1.2 min)
Any further thoughts:
Continuously went AFK throughout the game. Including one time going AFK in the jungle where he could have easily died. Said he was going to the bathroom. This was the longest period, but he also moved his hero during that time, so unless he took his computer with him to the loo, I'd suspect he was lying.

I'd say that he was throwing the game. He called mid with his stats. He was barely in any fights. I think he had radi in that game, but I think he sold it. Selling an item in and of itself is fine, but considering it with everything else, it's a throwing move.

Judging from his stats, it's his throwing account, and he might have thrown other games on it.

One Last thought, look at the stats of the person who submitted ban. They're clearly a restart account, sour that they didn't get a win even though they managed a decent k/d with Meepo. I assure you he will restart and you will see him trying to ban somebody else next time he loses. If anything, I'm trying to get my elo up on this Sayhawti account, so again, to say I tried to ruin is simply foolish.

Thanks, again, for the consideration.

You should base your appeal on what i wrote on the ban request, not on what the original poster wrote.

The stats or anything else about the original poster are not relevant here.

Then read the 1st message. The stats about original poster give some context, but they are not the thrust of my argument. The original message clearly identifies that my afks were insignificant. Look at his time stamps! also, I mentioned that I didn't sell radiance, had best items on my team, and bought wards for my team. Give me your supervisor's name and email address, or i will track it down if you don't resolve this immediately. I can't imagine a more foolish scenario in which to ban someone. Thanks, beerlord,. We'll be in touch soon. Having some friends in the moderator community will be helpful in this case. Good luck. I Tried to be cordial, but you simply made no sense and then weren't a gentleman about it.

Did you notice the fact scourge (also known as you/your team) won the game lol ( https://entgaming.net/findstats.php?id=10846467 )? So how is he sour considering he won, and carried you, while you afked? oO

You already had a recent ban (April) for afk: viewtopic.php?t=126660
And now your current ban: viewtopic.php?f=24&t=128864

Alchemist afk from 2959-3250, 3401-3509, 3656-3740.

That's the timings mentioned where you afk (according to the review by Beerlord), so if you want to contest his ban, review the game yourself and prove that you dind't afk at the mentioned times, else just acknowledge the fact you afk'ed (purposely or not, the responsability is still yours when you afk), check the wiki, copy/paste the rules, and the moderators won't mind reducing/unbanning you, as long as you cooperate, that is.

PS: Your last post is just irrelevant and tbh, i would just deny your appeal based on your attitude.

He's sour because he could've potentially had a better k/d. don't unban me if you want. thank you for adding to the list of people to write to your supervisor bout. So lets get this straight. We won? Got it. I had best items? I got it. I didn't sell radiance? Got it. I bought wards? absolutely got it. went afk at times? every hero did at times.. look at reply. map it out. then ban me. so i got banned for being afk for inconsequential times? i appreciate you sticking up for your noob mod beeloard, but both of u will lose priv after im through with you. Solidarity! good luck noobs.. writing mods in higher up places now. you lose
