elitist jerks

Postby Kixtand » Mon Jun 24, 2013 6:14 pm

The other day I got tired of certain elitist players stacking in legion games so I decided to do something about it. I knew full well i would be banned but i did it to make a point. For about 5 or 6 legion games in a row, I prevented Ricky911, BBB, and a few others from stacking their team. My reason for doing this is simple, its ruining the games. When u have a stacked team of 4 elitist "pros" who 99% of the time play against a team with at least one or two nubs/non-pros, they are going to win 99% of the games. This in turn gives them stupid high records and elo. I understand that they want to play with their premade team, but its ruining the quality of games. If you want to stack you should do it in HR games, or play against other premades, instead of ruining the enjoyment of other players. I know for a fact that most other players agree with me, the only ones who disagree are these few elitists that think this game belongs to only them, and that they can ban someone for looking at them the wrong way. Whatever snarky comebacks you super duper pros have to this post, just know this, the majority of legion players agree with me, not you.

Disrespectfully yours,

Kixtand

P.S. Stop talking crap about mercenary in the forums, and turning around and using merc every chance you get

You were harassing us basically. Get over it kid. I built my accounts from playing alone(nobody i know with me) for majority of my games. I don't need to merc either. We like to play as teammates from time to time and we should be able to. If you don't like how the teams are set up, join the next game. BTW, we do play against other pros in HR, LIHL, and tourney. So, don't act like we noob bash in pubs all of the time.

You dont know what your talking about. Maybe others do that, but certainly not me. Check my game list of Laststand, Lonewolf187 and Flowenol accounts if you really want to. I do sometimes, but who doesnt like to play with friends?

HR is A-bal :O

After plenty of games in the ENT community you make friends, you play with them and have fun. You'll understand that after a while.

To us we are playing with friends, to you we are stacking. w/e

Maybe quote a full sentence next time. Who knew that HR is A-BAL, its always empty. Either way stacking in pub games is just plain stupid. How is it fun to go into every game with an advantage, and knowing you're going to win? Do you like stealing candy from children as well?

Kixtand why is your enjoyment more important than someone else's enjoyment ?

People like to play with their friends in their team, it is inevitable that when some people want to play chilled games join publics with their friends.

And it is also inevitable playing so many inhouse league and hr games eventually becoming friends with the people you play against.

If you don't like it, it is your own problem, and you should do something about you, not ruining other people games because you are a hater. People like to play with their friends, you would knew that if you had any, but given your reactions as you described them, I find it hard to believe people would like to play with you.

Since you asked though, I will explain why playing with our friends ( I wasn't in the games you are talking about but I've been in that position ) is fun for us.

We can talk a lot of bullshit during the boring stages of the game.
We try stupid builds and risks and comment on them ( people that share a lot of games together can understand the jokes better )
We play a relaxed game, not having to be in red alert 24/7 during the game. Yes for most people that have played in lihl public games seem really easy with decent / good allies and we can relax, as most opponents are predictable.

If you want you can play against them, focus and try to win and get a +29.5 elo win, or lose 0.5 if you can't win. You might learn something , you might not.
If you don't want to play against them, just leave the game and join the next one. Stop acting like this world is all about you and your fun.

Although Kixtand might phrase a bit harsh, I kind of agree with you. For a long time I have been about 1100-1200 ELO because I had stacker teams vs me. This was when Duckie and I decided to tackle the stackers by playing with 1 main account and 1 smurf (and I'm proud we got to rank 1 while we played a lot of 4-man stacked teams). We would both have played with our normal accounts if we didn't have stackers against us all the time.

It would be so much fairer and more challenging if 4 so-called "friends" would take 2x 2 spots in a game instead of with 4 in 1 team, because it does fuck up the fun for most people. (not to mention the relativity of the word "friend" in this case)

It is easy to say you shouldn't whine when you are at the stacker's side, but when you are at the other side it is frustrating. I have sometimes had to dodge for 20 minutes so that I did not have to play vs a stacker team (and mostly that was only because you could then join a stacker team with 3).

I would propose to high ELO players playing with 3 friends to just go with 2 in 2 teams. In this way you are all in a game, you can communicate and chat, and the game is fun for others too.

The A-Bal games do not solve this problem, because a lot of good players do not play there, so you can't really "learn" there.
You don't stop playing because you grow old; you grow old because you stop playing.

The excessive stacking which is going on in Legion TD games sure is annoying. On the other hand, those who have a problem with it can easily join the next game.

I understand you kix. I get that bbb, ricky, wolf and iightfyre like playing together. And you should be able to play with your friends all you want in public servers. The problem is you guys are making hundreds of new accounts to boost eachothers elo. Ive adressed them, and they say the reason they do it, is because if they play from their real accounts they cant win elo. Beepboopbeep even ip changing when he goes on his new accounts, so he cant be linked. The obly eeason I got to 2100 was dodging these 2200 elo guys on 1000 elo accoubts

My opnion: if you want to play together, play from your real accounts so people know who they are facing.

People can stack up teams any way they want to imo. As long as your playing from your real accounts and not pumping fake elo into someone

Incorrect. Very good players on 1000 elo 0/0 accounts can be hard to spot. And there are many of them boosting people up fake. Shame :)
